First weekend of the summer.  Perfect Saturday for a BBQ.  But 4 BBQs?  Sometimes things happen.  The problem wasn't so much we had 4 invites, but they were spread out all over the place.  In the end it was a long and fun day that covered 175 miles and included 3.5 hours of driving.

Stars on Ice

Enjoying Olympic Ice skating reaches across generations in our family. I stumbled on some free tickets  on a trip and knew that live ice skating was fun to watch.  Can't appreciate speed of it on TV.  I knew that after the Olympics, they go on tour and got excellent tickets for an early Mothers Day celebration.

It was fantastic!   Everyone enjoyed the event.  I decide to bring my real camera.  Its performance in the low light and speed is amazing.
